Your Spa Visit

Your first visit will begin with a short consultation to determine your desires and then an assessment of  your skin's condition.  Photographs are taken frequently as a record of your progress.  An ultrasound skin scan will probably be indicated for those interested in restorative skin care and takes only a few minutes.  As your spa treatment commences, our first consideration is your personal comfort and relaxation.  For your comfort, we supply robes (or wraps) and slippers for use during your spa visit.  We ask that you remove all jewelry prior to any treatment and sufficient outer clothing to be comfortable (consult your Aesthetician).  We recommend that you leave all valuables at home as we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of any personal articles, including clothing and accessories.

Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation.  We thank you in advance for turning off all cell phones and pagers and for leaving your children at home. 

Hours of Operation

Appointments & Reservations

Our Spa Coordinators will assist you in planning services to suit your needs and interests.  We suggest making spa reservations for services at least two weeks in advance to assure preferred time and to accommodate staff preferences.  Spa packages and multiple guests are advised to plan four to six weeks in advance.  We recommend scheduling your next appointment before you leave The Spa.  All reservations must be accompanied by a credit card or gift certificate number so please have yours available when scheduling.

Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your reservation to complete treatment forms and to allow ample time to change into spa attire.  Your reservation time is your actual treatment commencement time.

Cancellations & Late Arrivals

You are encouraged to keep your appointment as scheduled.  We will provide a confirmation call or email notice before your day of arrival. Because spa treatments are reserved especially for you, we require at least 24 hours advance notice when canceling, changing, or rescheduling an appointment.  Multiple guest appointments require at least 72 hours advance notice when canceling, changing, or rescheduling appointments.  Any cancellations or changes without adequate notice will be charged at full value to your credit card or gift certificate.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened, cancelled, or rescheduled service.  As a courtesy to our other guests and staff, appointments will be automatically cancelled ten minutes after scheduled start time and charged according to cancellation policy.

Spa Rules & Regulations

Conforming with the rules of The Institute for Aesthetic Surgery, The Spa is for adults.  The minimum age for treatment is 18 and may require identification.  Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.  Children should be left at home as there is no one to look after them.  Certain medical conditions may require you to obtain a Physician's written authorization before treatments and services can be provided.  We cannot perform waxing and some other services on anyone taking Accutane, currently using RetinA, or taking certain antibiotics due to the sensitivity these prescriptions may cause to the skin.   Allow 24 hours after waxing services before exposing these areas to the sun.  Cell phones must be turned off.  Smoking is not allowed within The Institute or anywhere on the property.  Please do not bring food or drinks into The Institute.  Pets are not allowed.

Any products, service or gift amount is available through Gift Certificates. A great way to tell someone you care.

Return Policy

We are happy to issue our clients a SPA CREDIT for any unopened, non-prescription product or merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase and accompanied by a valid receipt.  Prescription products are not refundable.  SPA CREDITS may be applied to either services or other retail purchases.  Gift Certificates/Gift Cards are not refundable.  We are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen Gift Certificates.

A restocking fee of 25% will apply to any opened products returned with a valid receipt within 30 days of purchase.  A SPA CREDIT will be issued for the balance.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A CASH REFUND BE GIVEN.

Gratuities

We are committed to providing superior service to our clients.  Our prices do not include a gratuity.  The staff may accept cash gratuities solely at your discretion.
